Crazy Stone is a well-known Go engine that utilizes Monte Carlo evaluation combined with tree search techniques, achieving a 6d rating on KGS. This version has been optimized specifically for use on the iPhone, offering gameplay strength ranging from beginner levels to approximately 1d.

Champion Go is designed to cater to players across all skill levels, from novice to expert, providing a comprehensive Go experience.

The application features an 'Engine Server Game' mode, which requires purchase of play tickets. In this mode, users can compete against the latest Deep Learning-enhanced version of Crazy Stone hosted on a dedicated server—offering the opportunity to challenge a highly capable computer opponent in online matches.

Medal Challenge Mode offers 150 distinct levels of play, which are determined by combinations of computer difficulty (COM level), handicap settings, and board size. Players can earn medals by defeating the computer under specified conditions, encouraging progression through varied challenges.

The Engine Server Game supports multiple board sizes—9x9, 13x13, and 19x19—with 12 difficulty levels for each. This feature provides access to some of the strongest AI opponents available today, including Crazy Stone at an impressive 7d KGS rating (powered by an 8-core engine server).

The application includes user-friendly input methods—Zoom, Cursor, and Touch—to facilitate interactive gameplay.

Comprehensive game record features are available, allowing players to view full move histories, restart games from any move for review purposes, and utilize various tools aimed at improving one's game. These include automatic territory calculation, automatic and manual replay options, and email sharing capabilities for game records in SGF format.

Additional features encompass Human vs. Computer and Human vs. Human play modes on a shared device, handicap settings, adjustable komi, hints (suggestions), instant undo (even during computer calculations), time control options such as Byoyomi (for human players), last move highlighting, Atari warnings, and the option for the computer to resign.

Note that certain functionalities—particularly game record and hints—are limited during Medal Challenge Mode. The undo feature is restricted to the most recent move; consecutive undos are not permitted.

Subscription details include a monthly plan priced at $2.99 for unlimited Engine Server Games. After a seven-day free trial, charges are applied automatically unless canceled more than 24 hours before renewal. Users can manage their subscriptions through their iTunes account settings at Settings -> iTunes & Apple Store -> Apple ID -> Subscriptions. Canceling a subscription will prevent renewal but will not affect access until the current period expires. Any unused trial period will be forfeited upon subscription purchase.
